大工13春《大学英语3》教学大纲
大学英语3（学分4，学时60）
一、课程的性质和任务
《大学英语3》是远程高等教育各专业必修的一门重要的公共基础课。课文选材新颖、体裁多样，内容丰富有趣，并有一定的启发性。该课程强调打好扎实的语言基本功，突出综合应用能力的提高。学习课文时应从全篇内容着眼，并对一些常用词和词组的用法进行分析。
教材的课后练习旨在复习课文中的有关段落，增加就较复杂的事物进行提问的能力，巩固课文中所学常用词和词组的用法。阅读材料丰富多彩，词汇练习注重复现，语法操练循序渐进，翻译训练实用全面，写作训练由浅入深，培养学生创造性地使用英语的能力。
二、课程内容、基本要求与学时分配
基本内容：本学期共学习十个单元。教材的每一单元都由五个部分构成，即Text（课文），Extensive Reading（泛读），Writing（写作），Grammar（语法）， Translation（翻译）。课件则浓缩了教材上的内容，是学习的重点内容。
说明：建议在学习每课之前要浏览该课的生词和短语，然后通读课文并了解文章的大意，之后认真听讲课件，对文章进行细读。掌握每课的重点单词、短语和句型，并通过课后练习复习巩固。
